Bunty — Privacy Policy

What Bunty stores

Everything you enter, and nothing you don't:

• Baby profiles — the name, date of birth and gender you type in
• Logged events — feeds, nappy changes (wet or dirty) and sleeps, with their times, and where each was logged from: in the app, from a widget, from the Lock Screen, or by Siri
• Feed detail, if you add it to a feed — whether it included formula, breast milk or both, and optionally how much of each. Only recorded when you add it yourself; never by Siri or a widget
• Notes — any free text you choose to add to an event when editing it
• Your settings — which baby is selected, the feed alarm interval, whether it is switched on, whether it should keep alerting if ignored, and whether amounts show in ml or oz

Where it is stored

In a private container on your device, shared only between Bunty and its own widgets and Lock Screen features so they can show your data. It is not transmitted anywhere.

If you have iCloud Backup switched on, your iPhone's backup will include Bunty's data along with everything else on the device. That backup is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by Bunty.

What Bunty does not do

• No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or trackers
• No accounts, sign-in or email collection
• No network requests — the app works entirely offline

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for the developer to see, share, sell or lose.

Alarms and notifications

The optional feed alarm is scheduled on your device using Apple's AlarmKit. The alarm and its countdown are created and stored locally. No push notifications are used, so nothing is sent through any server.

Siri

Bunty offers Siri phrases such as “Bunty, log a feed”. The action runs on your device against your local data. Siri itself is Apple's, and anything you say to it is handled under Apple's privacy policy. Bunty never receives the audio.

Information about a child

Bunty records information about an infant, entered by a parent or carer. That information stays on the device in exactly the same way as everything else — it is never transmitted, and the developer has no access to it at any time.

Bunty is designed for parents and carers, not for use by children.

Your control over the data

• Edit or delete any logged event from within the app — swipe a row on Today or in the Log and tap Delete, or open it and delete it there
• Delete a baby profile, which removes that baby's events with it
• Use Delete all data on the About screen, which erases every profile, every event and any feed alarms, leaving the app as it was when you installed it
• Delete the app, which removes all of its data from your device

There is no request to make and no one to ask: the data is on your device and under your control.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Bunty changes what it stores or where — for example by adding iCloud sync so two parents can share a log — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
